GVM upgrades
WA Suspensions manage the installation of GVM (Gross Vehicle Mass) upgrades for selected vehicles. Our GVM upgrades can be installed as a Federal compliance kit on new vehicles prior to licencing, or the same kit can be installed on vehicles currently registered in Western Australia. Don’t lose BTC (Braked Towing Capacity) just because you have increased your GVM.
STATE INSPECTION AND COMPLIANCE- POST REGISTRATION INFORMATION
State Compliance vehicles (vehicles previously registered) must be presented in roadworthy condition to pass inspection by the WA Department of Transport.
Find your vehicle on the list and you can see your new GVM and GCM (Gross Combined Mass) values.
Inspection costs and modification permits may be added to kit installation cost.
